Hooky’s FA Vase campaign ended on Tuesday night when they were beaten 2:0 by Uhlsport Premier Division side Wokingham & Emmbrook in this replay.

There was very little between the two sides all evening with either goalkeeper not having to make a meaningful save in the opening exchanges.

On 28 minutes Hooky failed to clear the ball and a Right wing cross from Dean Thomas was headed past keeper Bill Johnson at the far post by Sam Whiting gave the hosts the lead at half time.

The game was settled on the 50 minute mark when a 25 yard drive from Sam Duffelyn flew into the top corner of the net.

Hooky failed to create any genuine chances in the second half and maybe feel a chance slipped them by to progress into the next round.
