Hooky are fast becoming the draw specialists in this division after a goalless draw at home to Malmesbury Victoria.
Hooky started brightly and created early opportunities, Jayson Mara going close trying to chip the keeper from 35 yards and a free kick from Jason Tillcock being deflected off the defensive wall narrowly over the crossbar.
However midway through the first half Hooky missed their best chance of the game, after good delivery from a Jamie Wyatt free kick into the six yard area right onto the head of Damien Gourley, and somehow Gourley managed to head the ball over the crossbar sending the teams in level at half time 0:0.
Second half their were few opportunities at either of the pitch, Hooky’s best opportunity falling to substitute Ben Tew shot wide from close range after good work down the left from Jamie Wyatt.
However, it took a fine save to deny the visitors right at the death from keeper Matthew Brice to preserve the point for Hooky.
Once again Hooky miss out on taking all three points for not taking the chances they had created.
